Annapurna Bhandar: How to Apply Online and Check Status

West Bengal's Annapurna Bhandar scheme pays ₹3,000 per month directly into the bank accounts of eligible women through DBT. Here is how the application and status check work on the official Social Registry portal.

Who is eligible

The scheme is for women who are permanent residents of West Bengal, aged between 25 and 60, and the female head of the family. Your bank account must be seeded with Aadhaar — without that, the DBT payment fails even if everything else is approved.

How to apply online

  1. Open socialregistry.wb.gov.in by typing the address yourself.
  2. Log in with your mobile number — an OTP will be sent for verification.
  3. Fill in the application form with your personal, Aadhaar, and bank details.
  4. Submit and save your application ID for tracking.

If the portal is slow or crashes — it saw heavy traffic and server crashes when it launched in June 2026 — try early morning or late night, or visit a Duare Sarkar camp or Bangla Sahayata Kendra for offline help.

How to check your status and payment

On the portal, use the "Track Applicant Status" option with your application ID, Aadhaar number, or registered mobile number. You can also simply check your Aadhaar-linked bank account via passbook, mobile banking, or net banking to confirm the ₹3,000 credit.
